Best damn donuts anywhere! My favorites are the dulce de leche & their take on the Boston creme. But the hibiscus & the passion fruit donuts don't slouch neither! Get their super strong coffee to go with! Perfection.

Neighborhood pizza joint with a twist - it's affordable, tasty, thin crust & French. Slices are $2.50-$3. Whole pizzas include Le Nordique with smoked salmon, the best darn pepperoni this former vegetarian has ever had & a super veggie mix that everyone will love. Red checked table cloths & a stellar music selection round out this affordable, quick, yum option!

Located just across the street & situated in a 100 year old bar, turned liquor store, then auto parts shop, Speedy Romeo is a neighborhood staple. And one of the locations where the tv series, Girls, was filmed. All their dishes are prepared in a hardwood fired Italian pizza oven, and on a wood grill from Mesquite, Texas. Trendy & tasty & a great place for a wonderful NY state beer, a unique pizza or a tasty brunch.

Much smaller than Prospect Park, this local park in Fort Greene is within walking distance & is a great destination when shopping & site seeing. There are all kinds of neighborhood events that happen here during the warm months. Bonus: Before 9am dogs are allowed to run off leash. And there are tons of them. Really great if you love dogs.

Do or Dive reads like a cartoonist’s depiction of a hipster dive bar, filled with garish, kitschy accoutrements — animated vintage beer signs, hanging stained-glass lamps, a stuffed shark & a mountain goat wearing sunglasses. The crowd is boisterous & beardy, enjoying the solid beer selection & a variety of odd cocktails. And, they have a great old school jukebox with $5 beer & shot specials. One of my favorites!
