The Cottage at the Whinny Club

Our "cottage" is located in the city, but also on 6 acres of wooded land. It is very private for those wanting to enjoy a more natural scene. This is the perfect spot to come and get away from it all, while still enjoying a close proximity to downtown, historic Thomasville. Views of trees and wildlife from the windows give it a very secluded feel. Please note that smoking is not allowed anywhere! If you smoke this is not the place for you. Dogs are welcome, but not in the bed. Strictly no cats!

Whether you're in town for an event or looking for a getaway, you'll feel cozy, comfortable, and right at home in this historic cottage. Built in 1916, the home offers historic charm and modern amenities. With more than 1,600 sq. ft. and three bedrooms, there's room for the whole family! There's a huge fenced-in yard and Macintyre Park is just half a block away. The front porch and back deck offer serenity under the pines. Or take a 3 minute drive to experience all that downtown has to offer.

Close to everything, a million miles away....... Down the two-track driveway, past the view of the nearest neighbors, our new custom cabin awaits. Rest easy on the screened porch, with its view of the two-acre lake or cross the adjacent foot bridge to the island. Fish for bass and bream, stroll the walking path, paddle around and enjoy the wildlife, or just relax far from the madding crowd. This slice of paradise sits on 12 acres; our home is across the lake, out of sight and out of mind.

Relax with the whole family at this charming farmhouse in the heart of Thomasville, GA. The house was lovingly remodeled with modern details to provide a luxurious yet charming feel. Located on over a half acre in a highly sought after neighborhood, you can unwind into the beautifully decorated and well equipped home, or retreat to the private patio or game room. Although shops and top restaurants are only a 3-5 minute drive away, the area feels peaceful and secluded.

The Cottage is a detached , private building. The COTTAGE has a high-end, very comfortable queen size bed , high-end linens, and feather pillows. Also a medium sized TV in the sleeping area, on the wall for separate viewing. The Cottage has a new state of the art smart A/C and heating system , with full heating and cooling. It has granite counter top kitchenette. There is a full bathroom. The living room has a 32 inch flatscreen TV and a couch that can double for a BED.

Enjoy this cozy “dog friendly” 2 BR cottage on a quiet residential street in the heart of Monticello’s historic district. This cottage is an easy walk to downtown and is ideal for couples or friends for a relaxed getaway. Well-behaved potty trained dogs ( max 2) are welcome! The cottage has a fenced in yard and is located on a perfect street for dog walking. The cottage front porch is the perfect place to unwind with a cocktail before walking to dinner. My place is a 10 minute walk to parks, restaurants and the historical and Southern Living recognized, downtown area. You’ll love my place because of the back yard, the comfy bed, and the coziness. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
