A wonderful little miner’s cottage located in the village of Llanhilleth in Blaenau Gwent. It's just a couple of minutes off the A467 bypass (A467 is NOT 20mph from M4 J28). Great for visiting the local tourists attractions, such as the UNESCO Blaenavon World Heritage center, the Brecon Beacons, castles, roman ruins and St. Fagans. Fast road to the M4 if visiting the coast. Dogs are welcome. Free on street parking and the local valley train to Cardiff Central Station just 6 mins walk away.

The cabin in situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons close to the market town of Abergaveny, with walks, Cycle rides including mountain biking, cold water swimming. Ty Pentref is nestled right in the heart of of Cwmcarn village, very close to the beautiful Cwmcarn Scenic Drive, mountain biking trails and Twmbarlwm walks. We are less than 20 miles from Cardiff City. Within a 1 Hr drive, you can reach Cardiff Bay, Wye Valley, Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) Forest of Dean, Bristol and Hereford. A little further, approx and hour and 20 mins you can visit beautiful beaches and towns in the Mumbles and The Gower.

The nearby village of Llanover is in a conservation area, the Brecon Beacons National Park is within a stones throw.
