Windy Hall est un endroit très spécial. En haut des Pennines, il offre l'une des vues les plus magnifiques d'Angleterre. Vous voudrez peut-être rester et profiter du calme et de la tranquillité, mais nous sommes idéalement situés pour des excursions vers l'ouest, dans le Lake District, vers l'est, dans la magnifique ville cathédrale de Durham, et vers le nord, au mur d'Hadrien. C'est inhabituel, car vous devez parcourir les 240 derniers mètres à pied pour rejoindre la maison, mais nous vous apporterons vos bagages dans notre 4x4. Le Nook Cottage au cœur du Northumberland

Venez profiter de la nature, de la paix et de la tranquillité dans un cottage en pierre idyllique et indépendant niché au cœur du Northumberland, à quelques pas de la rivière North Tyne, de deux pubs de village, d'un bureau de poste, d'une supérette et d'une église. Le charme se trouve dans les murs en pierre d'origine, les poutres en chêne, le poêle à bois, le mobilier confortable et le lit king-size. Une excellente base touristique, située près du mur d'Hadrien, des forts romains, de l'abbaye d'Hexham et de l'eau et du parc forestier de Kielder.

À deux pas de Brampton dans le nord de la Cumbria, Solport View Cottage est le point de départ idéal pour découvrir la richesse des attractions qu'offre le mur d'Hadrien. Les North Pennines, la côte de Solway et les Scottish Borders sont également proches. Avec ses vues panoramiques et son jardin entièrement clos, il est également parfait pour s'asseoir et se détendre.

Welcome to Aquila Cottage which is directly on the Hadrians Wall Path, Pennine Way and Cycleway Route 72. The cottage is in an unparallelled location just 150 yards from "the best bit" of Hadrians Wall at Walltown Crags and directly opposite the Roman Army Museum. There is a bus stop right (services include AD122) outside. We are perfectly located for walking, visiting the sites along Hadrians Wall, stargazing events at Walltown & Twice Brewed as well as visiting the lakes & Scottish Borders

The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.

This delightful and cosy, single-storey, detached holiday cottage has been furnished to a high standard and has pleasant views across open countryside. The hills in the distance are the Nine Nicks of Thirlwall along the ridge of which runs Hadrian's Wall. The cottage is within 50m of the line of the wall and the National Trail. It sits on the edge of the village, in a very tranquil location being the last property on a very quiet lane.
