From the lounge, you can enjoy watching the animals play in the paddock below or the birds fluttering around in the trees.

Lively village centre 1.5 kms away, with a well stocked local shop, a fruit and veg shop, 3 cafes and a family friendly pub, railway station, regular music gigs and starting point for the famous Escarpment walk. It is an easy train or drive to Wellington.

Close to to Upper Hutt and amenities, including the wonderful Brewtown.
