Camping pod in western lakes

Our cosy pod sleeps 2 adults comfortably but could sleep 3 adults or 2 plus 1 young child. Pet friendly. Inside the pod is a double bed, a single futon mattress, kettle, toaster and oil filled radiator, carpeted floor, black out curtains. no bedding is supplied. The pod is small but cosy. The onsite games room provides extra space. Based on our working farm with panoramic views of local fells and Skiddaw. We have 3 camping pods all sited for guest privacy but could all be hired by friends.

Only a few miles from the Lake District National Park and Solway Coastline, Scholars Cottage is superbly situated for you to enjoy the beautiful scenery and some of the best local walking routes during your stay. The Cottage has recently been refurbished to a high standard and we look forward to hosting for you as you explore the Western Lake District.

Whitehaven boasts some excellent visitor attractions, specialist shops, bars & restaurants which are all within easy walking distance, as is the marina - the official starting point for the C2C cycle tour. Ideally located to explore the beautiful Lake District.

West view is a luxury property located directly on Nethertown beach. It is in a tranquil area with amazing sea views. It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the fire lit. An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Toddell Barn

Toddell Barn forms part of our traditional Lakeland longhouse farm, built in approximately 1710. Toddell Barn sits within approximately 7 acres of agricultural land that helps attract a wide variety of wildlife. Toddell Barn is located in the hamlet of Brandlingill (2 miles south of Cockermouth) and is within the northern boundary of The Lake District National Park, categorised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017.
