The cabin sits on the North Toe River. 2 BR fully furnished cabin is so comfy and cozy with every detail thought of. The hot tub with the view of the river & the firepit with wood furnished is a great way to spend the day outdoors… Enjoy hiking, fishing, tubing , and watching the wildlife that frequents the property. Banner Elk Cozy Cottage Close to Downtown

Let our cozy cottage be your home-base for all your mountain adventures. For mtn biking, you will be minutes away from the trails at Lees-McRae College as well as the bike parks at Sugar and Beech Mountains during the summer. In the winter, you'll have several skiing and snow tubing options within a few miles as we are within 10-15 minutes to Beech or Sugar. Wildcat lake is at the bottom of our street. Bring your fishing gear or kayaks/stand-up boards!

Welcome to the wondrous mountains of Newland, NC! This cozy home is situated up high with a gorgeous view of the mountains and quick access to major grocery stores, gas stations, post offices, restaurants, bars, and fun activities for all seasons. It includes 3 Bedrooms (2 on the first floor, 1 in the basement) with 3 Bathrooms that allow the hosting of up to 6 guests at a time! Enjoy a beautiful rustique interior with comfy couches and beds.

Surrounded on three sides by the Pisgah National Forest with a long-range mountain view from the deck, adventure awaits right outside the door. Sunbear also has high-speed internet for remote work and a backup generator. Cooler months offer backcountry hiking along creeks chocked with waterfalls off the eastern flank of the cabin. Summer features wildlife, Fireflies, and a nice quiet place to escape the summer heat.
