Inside snuggle by the wood heater, outside relax on a hand hewn red gum deck with built-in bath, outdoor shower. The outhouse provides views across the wetlands and its wildlife! Gariwerd walks are a 10 minute stroll away, as is good coffee, the local brewery and the eateries of Halls Gap. Come and connect!

A secluded and intimate luxury escape inspired by the need to live smaller and more sustainably, Monterey is an eco-friendly off-grid tiny house nestled amongst 35 acres of native forest offering guests the perfect opportunity to explore nature, unwind and recharge. Built from salvaged Monterey Cypress timber, the house offers a dreamy king sized bed downstairs with floor to ceiling windows. Whether its visiting the area or passing through, this super comfortable unit is for you! Tidy 2br unit on 25 acres of river front land. Enjoy some peace and quiet. Main has double bed, second br has double/single bunk. Extra double mattress can be offered for extra bed. Home cooked meals available by negotiation. Please be mindful that the unit is very close to the main residence and we ask you to respect that and keep noise to a minimum. Limited phone reception. Free WIFI.

101 Love Shack

Our rustic 1903 mud-brick studio is made from river sand and mud sourced from the local Great Western area. The studio was built as a fruit kitchen by the Patching family who owned and operated a number of orchards along Concongella Creek and Salt Creek. The fruit kitchen has been recently renovated into a 1-bed studio which offers history and modern comforts. The cottage is surround by farm land meaning there is an abundance of animals to watch and enjoy, including Kangaroos.

The Loft

Our little loft is situated in the township of St Arnaud. It’s a self contained studio space with a kitchenette, queen bed and private bathroom. The lounge room section includes a double futon which can be easily converted into a second bed. The perfect stop over spot or destination for a weekend in the country. St Arnaud has some cute cafe’s, a couple of great pubs. It is a must see on the Silo Art Trail, with artworks located throughout the town.
