Located a few minutes walk from the beautiful Spread Eagle Inn and Sawley Abbey ruins, surrounded by beautiful countryside, perfect for walking.

A stunning, cosy cottage located in the Forest of Bowland, Ribble Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Once part of a looming house and barn, this Grade II Listed building has been converted to a lovely cottage with peaceful surrounding views. There are many picturesque footpaths located close to the cottage, and within reach of historical and geological sites with beautiful scenes of wildlife. This is a working smallholding farm, so we must accept no pets to the cottage. No smoking.

Originally built to home local mill workers, Tailors Cottage has been sympathetically restored to reflect the past whilst offering fibre wifi, smart tv's and new fixture & fittings throughout. Free on street parking outside. 3 minutes walk to Holmes Mill.

Built in 1860 for workers at the nearby cotton mill, this home has many period and original features. Whether you are cooking in the kitchen, relaxing in front of the wood burning stove, laying in bed or luxuriating in the gorgeous feature bath, there is a stunning view to be seen from every window. If you are lucky you may see an otter or mink swim by.

Within the village there are three popular pubs, the Lower Buck Inn, the Higher Buck and the Waddington Arms also a beautiful church all within 2mins walking distance from the cottage. Well behaved dogs are welcome. dogs cannot be left unaccompanied in the cottage and not allowed on furniture. All guests will be left a welcome pack with bread,milk, tea, coffee + butter.
