Cedar Lodge nestled in the pennine hills is in a unique position with breathtaking views; we are surrounded by beautiful countryside while only being a 15 minute walk on country lanes to the nearest pub & restaurant...Sit on the decking or in the hot tub with a glass of something cold and watch the gliders catching the thermals from Stoodley Pike hillside drifting down on a summer evening; the spectical is amazing to watch. Stay in a beautifully restored 1777 Annex with 9 acres of countryside to explore. Cosy bedroom with wooden beams, French doors to wildflower meadows, and a moon gate leading to rolling hills. Relax in the hot tub with panoramic views (wildlife spotting included!), picnic under our 100 year-old oak tree, or enjoy the quirky honesty-bar kitchen. Rose cottage is dog friendly. Ideally located just 4 mins walk from the town centre. with its multitude of places to eat out and drink from romantic restaurants to family friendly diners and cozy real ale pubs to lively cocktail bars. many festivals of art, food and folk music throughout the year and of course, the famous Picturedrome music venue. Holmfirth has something for everyone, nestled in a beautiful setting, surrounded by the idyllic countryside of the Peak District and dales.

Old Piggery beautiful views. Dog friendly garden.

We converted the Old Piggery over 20 years ago, and have recently done a full refurbishment. It now has a cosy snug with a sofa as well as a lounge with far-reaching views. There is an ensuite bathroom and downstairs, a shower and toilet. The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor with a king-sized, chunky farmhouse bed with an extremely comfortable mattress. The lounge area has a Laura Ashley sofa and snuggle chair positioned to take in a far-reaching views or a 43 inch TV if you prefer!
