Pullman Train Car at Rassawek

Our Pullman Car is one of 3 converted train cars available for rentals. The car was built by Pullman Co. in 1888. Guests staying in this car have access to the shared amenities of Rassawek Station including the patio “Flat Car” and our Lodge Cabin. Guests can also use the ponds on the property as well as the 5+ miles of private country roads for hiking, running and biking. The converted car has a living area, full kitchen, a bedroom with two double beds, a full bath with shower and a half bath.

Large chill groups and families welcome, no loud parties or events. 15 minute walk to camp (mostly flat except beginning of trail) OR *drive directly to camp.* Most vehicles will be fine - ask if unsure! Super low sport cars or luxury vehicles would not be the best, though! It's an adventurous forest drive, so expect mud, bumps, scratches, and tight turns.

The Pine Grove Cottage is just 3 miles from the bustling Zion Crossroads retail and business area (and from Interstate 64), but is in a secluded, quiet rural spot. Professionally decorated and luxuriously furnished, the Cottage can accommodate up to 7 people if the sofa bed is included. It is great to be so near to Charlottesville, on the Monticello side of town, with quick access to all Charlottesville has to offer. So many wineries close by. Beautiful countryside. Yet affordable.

Refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker a kitchen sink and induction burner to cook on. Also washer and dryer in the room. Upon your arrival there will be Banana Nut Bread, fruit & filtered water.
