Veterans Retreat

It's wheelchair accessible with 36-inch-wide hallways and doors plus supportive bars in bathroom to shower and assist for stool sitting. It is spacious enough to be inside with bench kitchen and coffee pot . Dogs ok $50 cleaning fee each additional dog is $25. Thier is access to state park trail from the back yard.I built it for my fellow Veteran brothers/sisters who may have some disabilities but still can enjoy it, so 15% off if you do rent. However, it can also be reserved by non-veterans.

Peaceful retreat down gravel driveway 15 min from Mayo Clinic. Enjoy your own apartment with private backyard walkout entrance to the lower level of our home. You will have a bedroom, living area, kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven (no conventional stove/oven), bathroom w/ tub & shower, pingpong table, laundry, and patio with fire ring. You may hear piano music weekday afternoons, since I give lessons (usually 3-6 pm; a bit earlier in summer) NEW HEATED FLOORS w/thermostat

The Corn Crib Cottage Barn or Villa is a luxurious and rustic 1100 square foot space. The Corn Crib originally used to dry corn and animal housing. This is a very rare historical building built in the 1920's The villa has a 2 person whirlpool jacuzzi , rain shower, beautiful full kitchen, fireplace and next to the 550 acre Washington County Cottage Grove Ravine regional park reserve. Located in the beautiful Zumbro River Valley, you are near the Zumbo River, popular for kayaking, tubing and fishing, and many scenic roads for biking and cruising. Rochester is 30 minutes away as is the Mississippi River and its river towns. A long, but gentle boardwalk takes you up to this apartment. Wonderful location to spend time with family and friends, or to getaway and enjoy the beauty of the driftless region.

Milkhouse Cottage was rebuilt from the original Milkhouse built on our farm in 1906. Nestled in a peaceful valley across the road from the Rush River. Amenities include one queen bed, 1 queen sized comfortable queen sofa bed, air conditioning, private deck, private fire pit & 38 acres of private hiking trails and snowshowing trails. For larger groups we have another cottage on airbnb called the Trout Haus. Check on Airbnb or contact us regarding renting both houses.
