Choose us and experience a private river lot across the road from the house other than just "river access". There are NO steps to the river.

Awesome View is appropriately named; we have nearly a 360 degree view of mountains—Blue Ridge and Massanutten. You have the advantage of a fully equipped kitchen, a dining nook with a view of the mountains, full private bath, 12x12 bedroom, spacious family area, cable, wifi, washer/dryer and private parking within inches of your door. We have furnished games, puzzles, reading materials for your spare moments and relaxing pleasure. We ask that you bring no pets and no smoking, vaping or drugs.

The Bluestone Lodge

This tiny home in Rockingham County has a lot to offer. Cram-packed with amenities, it has everything you need for a weekend retreat or week-long getaway. It includes a full kitchen, bathroom with tile shower, sleeper sofa that turns into a queen bed and smart TV. In the living room, there is a custom fold-down table for eating or playing cards. After a day of hiking, skiing, or canoeing, take a luxurious bath in the elegant stand-alone tub while sipping local wines.

River Overlook Retreat is nestled on a wooded hillside just uphill from the Shenandoah River in a secluded, natural setting. Crafted recently by an Amish builder (2019), our cozy, two-bedroom cabin has new furnishings, decorations inspired by the outdoors and local artists, fully equipped kitchen, expansive porch and private riverside deck nearby (just downhill) where the view of the river is located.

Beautifully renovated spring house on the grounds of the 1800s Peter Breneman House. Soak up peace and quiet in one of the most beautiful corners of the Shenandoah Valley. Enjoy starry skies, sunrises, and birdwatching from your private porch. 9 minutes from Eastern Mennonite University, 13 minutes from James Madison University, and 45 minutes from the entrance to Shenandoah National Park.
