Perfect for a romantic getaway, family vacation or football weekends. Enjoy activities such as hunting, fishing and cross country skiing. Snowmobilers can leave directly from the cabin. We are located 10 minutes from Black Moshannon State Park, and only 25 minutes from Penn State Beaver Stadium. Guests are provided with breakfast items for the duration of their stay.

The primary bedroom features a queen-size bed, while the secondary bedroom includes a full-size bed. The living area is equipped with a sleeper sofa for extra sleeping space, and the loft adds two twin mattresses for additional accommodations, ideal for kids. The cabin’s kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including an oven and refrigerator and microwave. Small home is completely remodeled using traditional woodwork craftsmanship for a warm feel. Full appliances and amenities are supplied in the cottage. Evening and breakfast snacks included. Tasty public tap water for drinking and cooking. Private lane leads to the home with a spacious covered porch overlooking hillside and field. Ideal location at foothills of Laurel Highlands and outskirts of Pittsburgh. Town of Mt. Pleasant is just minutes away providing restaurants and shopping.

1832 Historic Washington Bottom Farm Log Cabin

Welcome to our renovated 1832 Log Cabin on the grounds of the George William Washington and Sarah Wright Washington 19th century plantation. The cabin was the first structure built. Then came barns and slaves’ quarters (no longer standing). The dairy barn is now a woodworking shop and the bank barn was recently restored. The main house, built in 1835, is Greek Revival style. Today, our 300+acre is Certified Organic. We border the South Branch of the Potomac River. It’s ALMOST HEAVEN !
