The Old Piggery is a lovely retreat set in a beautiful peaceful 3 acre smallholding in the New Forest with a great Hottub. The ideal getaway for couples or families it has direct forest access right from the gate. It is 2-3 miles from both Beaulieu and Lymington and 30 mins walk or 10 min cycle to the beach and two pubs. This quirky attractive vintage little cottage is perfect for getting away from it all and relaxing in idyllic surroundings. Just a few metres from the lovely pebbly Gurnard beach, this fully refurbished historical little wooden building is set back from the road and tucked away behind our wild garden. It is accessed from its own car parking space via a little path. At the rear, a small stream goes to the sea and a large oak tree provides shelter to birds and a relaxing swing seat.

Built in 1882, our lovely cottage is a former coastguard cottage located in a row of 14 made of a number of holiday homes and permanent homes to local families. The inside of the cottage is very well appointed and very cozy. The west facing garden deck provides a good size outdoor area to sit and take in the fantastic views of Cowes harbour, the Solent beyond and the amazing sunsets. You will have access to a dedicated off street parking space.

Adventure Prospect - Historic Waterfront Cottage

Relax and enjoy your stay at this unique and tranquil getaway. 'Adventure Prospect' has recently been completely renovated and is steeped in military history. Formerly known as the "shifting house" it was first built in 1898-1899 to accommodate munitions workers changing into the special clothing that they wore when working on magazines. The cottage provides an ideal escape from everyday life and has direct access to the water.
