Cwt Glo eco cottage Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)/ Zip World

Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

Situated on the North Wales coast, at the foot of the Carneddau Mountains and with views across to the Isle of Anglesey, this beautifully renovated former Smithy, just off the A55, is the perfect location for exploring the treasures of North Wales. Relax in front of the woodburning stove after a days exploring, watch the sun set over Penrhyn Castle, take a walk down to the beach, or enjoy a drink at the The Slate Tavern and a walk home across the fields. French doors open out onto the lawn and patio. Ideal for walkers wishing to visit the Carneddau, and just off the Pilgrim's Way, but also a short drive from Conwy, Llandudno, and attractions such as Zip World and Bodnant Gardens. We allow pets. Ideal for couples (one bedroom) but there is a sofa bed for a child or extra guest.
