This location is wonderful to take walks/ biking with a 7 mile trail around the lake.

With 23 acres of country, this Suite is perfect for reflecting and relaxing. Space includes a separate bedroom/bath, a great room w/bunk beds, kitchenette & a breakfast room. Enjoy the view out the picture window of the farm fields and big sky, play foos ball, POOL IS OPEN June-Sept, visit the animals, rest by the pond. There are sitting areas all around to inspire & a perimeter path to walk. There are dirt roads to travel, so drive slow & watch for deer. Winter roads are an adventure!

Get back to nature at Stella Matutina Farm’s Moon Flower Yurt. Located on a 10 acre , working Biodynamic farm in the heart of the Waterloo Recreation Area. The yurt sits in its own private space in the forest. Visit the farm animals, historic barn and vegetable gardens. Fire pit, outhouse with compost toilet, outdoor solar shower, and woodstove in the yurt. Visit the quaint towns of Grass Lake and Chelsea or go swimming in one of several nearby lakes. Mountain bike and hiking trails close by.

Enjoy our hot tub all year long. Canal views with free access to pedal boat, SUPs, and kayak. Relax by the indoor gas fireplace or fire pit. Guest rave about nearby wineries and walking trails. This is a rare opportunity to be the only guests on a secluded 220 acres of gentle hills with grasslands interspersed with trees and ponds. Explore natural ecosystems and witness sustainable grazing of sheep. The back yard is filled with an organic vegetable garden and behind that are honeybees. Your family may participate in any and all of it. The newly renovated apartment is the upstairs of my farmhouse. It includes a private entrance, full kitchen and deck overlooking the lake.

Views of lake from the carriage house & views of the garden and woods in the back. Game room below the carriage house for rainy day activities including ping pong, board games and TV. Outdoor games available.

Fishing is possible year round (bring your own pole). Hike the miles of area trails in fall leaves or quiet snow. Light a bonfire after games of corn-hole and table tennis. Stay in a YURT on An Equine Rescue Ranch

The yurt is located on a 30 Acre Equine Rescue ranch. It is a 4 season 20ft yurt in the middle of the ranch with a beautiful view of Mustangs (American Legends). All proceeds from rental will go back to the rescue. There is electric, an outhouse a short walk away, a cold water spigot close by. Minutes away from Pleasant Lake for swimming, a local winery & 38 minutes from Ann Arbor. We offer tours and chances to interact with equines, including American Mustangs!
