Vintners Rest by Meander Valley Vineyard

Private and luxurious self-contained cabin nestled amongst the vines on a 15-acre working vineyard in northern Tasmania. It’s a great halfway point between Devonport and Launceston (35min drive from either) We’re on the Tasting Tail, surrounded by a wealth of produce including truffle, salmon, raspberry, dairy and honey farms. In the distance lie the Western Tiers, Cradle Mountain, and the Tasmanian wilderness. It’s a place where the cleanest air, land and water produce truly outstanding wine.

Eco self contained cottage in a garden.

This mini 1 bedroom house was our trial run in building our main home using passive house principles. We are approx 1 km from the centre of Westbury in a rural location. (You may be lucky enough to sight some of our local wildlife during your stay! ) The cottage is suitable for a couple, however the extra single bed does enable some flexibility for guests.(i.e. if you wish to use both beds, please book for 3 people.) We provide a library of information about sustainability for guest perusal.

Happy Nest

Happy Nest is an apartment which is half of the main house at NutGarden. The house has been partitioned to make two residences. Happy Nest contains a bedroom, a large living area, a kitchen and shower/toilet. There is a double sofa bed in the living space as well as the double bed in the bedroom. The house was built by owner/ host Kim Clark who lives on the property with his partner Chintana. The spectacular location is in the rainforest of the World Heritage Region of the Great Western Tiers

A couple of steps and you’ll find yourself in a dream, slip on the Peter Alexander Dressing gown and slide into the spacious 2 person spa and crystals that tighten anything that needs tightening. This charming mountain style self-contained cottage is nestled on the side of Mount Roland, Tasmania. Located on a quiet unsealed road, with stunning views of the Dasher Valley on one side and Mount Roland on the other. Only 10 minutes from Sheffield (full amenities/dining), 45 minutes from Cradle Mountain, 1 hour from Launceston and 40 minutes from the Spirit of Tasmania. Relax on the private deck, pat our goats or explore nearby walking tracks, waterfalls, wineries, tasting trails, etc.

Naivasha Tiny House is the perfect romantic getaway. It is set in a clearing in the Tasmanian bush and has amazing views of the countryside. The tiny home itself has been built entirely of cedar by local artisans. It has been fitted out with antique and reclaimed furnishings with an emphasis on comfort and laid back luxury. The wood fired hot tub is without doubt the highlight. The claw foot bath, indoor wood fire, outdoor fire pit and friendly native wildlife are close seconds.
