Angels' Share self catering on the Isle of SkyeAngels’ Share is an architect designed contemporary cottage over looking Knock Bay and the ruins of Knock Castle. There is spacious accommodation for two people, with room for two children on a sofa bed (a cot is also available for infants). The cottage is situated on the Sleat peninsula known as the Garden of Skye. The cottage is not far from from the Skye Bridge and the mainland ferry ports. It makes a great base for exploring the whole of Skye's beautiful scenery.
Taigh Iomhair - Shoreside CottageTaigh Iomhair was originally a stone built thatched 'blackhouse'. It first appears on local historical records in 1814, but it is likely it was built in the latter half of the 18th century. The main structure of the house has not changed in over 200 years, but the property was internally refurbished in 2019, including new bathroom, kitchen, flooring and furnishings. The thatched roof was replaced many years ago, but the house still retains a character from a bygone crofting era.
Traditional croft house, East Gerinish, South UistBuilt around 1850, the house has been in my husband's family since. We only started to share it last year and have had great reviews and enjoyed having guests. The house sits above a rocky bay on Loch Shielavaig and has views of Hecla and Skye. We hope you love it as much as we do. The area is ideal for anyone with a love of peace and quiet and the outdoors. Walking, fishing, bird watching, photography, canoeing or just relaxing. Fishing licences can be obtained locally. See "things to note"
