It’s based in THE location, 2 mins away from the incredible Black Rock walk, 4 mins away from the shops/town centre, 12 mins away from the world famous Old Man of Storr, lovely garden, private parking, pure relaxation. You’ll have a blast!

After living in many different places, I understand how important and difficult it is to find a nice, clean, Simple luxury and comfort to relax, rather than spending the entire holiday crammed into a small space. No matter what weather or we don't want to go out, we still can enjoy view even if we sit in the house. So we decided to build Ardtreck. After exploring and observing all aspects of Skye, we were fortunate to discover a unique location for it. The main characteristics of Ardtreck are：

Stunning Skye seafront: calm, cosy, central.

Braidholm is our home on Skye. It's a 19th century building, warm and cosy. Step in from the weather and hunker down in the comfy sofa in front of a log fire. The kitchen is cottage style, with everything you'd expect in a modern home. Two bedrooms upstairs (kingsize in one, twins in the other, all with Egyptian Cotton, 400 thread-count linen) with sea views . Two bathrooms upstairs (one ensuite), a toilet downstairs. Private garden plus parking for 2 cars. 300m from the centre of Portree.

Near Byre @ 20 Lochbay (Self-Catering )

Fabulous self-catering apartment for 2 people (+1 small/medium sized dog). This 18th Century cow byre has been lovingly restored by the owners, retaining the original stone walls. An ideal space to get away from it all, enjoy peace and quiet in front of a wood-burning stove, whilst taking in the amazing views from Lochbay to the Outer Hebrides. Near Byre is a 10-min walk (2-min drive) to the Michelin starred Lochbay Restaurant and The Stein Inn. Short Term Let Licencing Scheme No: HI-30091-F

Red Mountain Garden Cottage (Self Catering)

Sorry - Children over 10 only. Red Mountain Cottage is beautifully and quietly situated on the edge of Carbost village, with stunning views overlooking Loch Harport and towards the Cuillin Mountains. This is a small, modern, but very well appointed cottage/cabin has been lovingly created to a high specification, including handmade beds and sills & a feature wall. The cottage sleeps 3, but is ideal for couples seeking a romantic break, as well as for sight-seeing, walking and climbing.

HANNAH’S COTTAGE

With its distinctive red roof and beautifully finished stone walls Hannah’s Cottage is the perfect couple's retreat on the romantic Isle of Skye. The cottage comes fully equipped with a modern kitchen, luxury shower room and full laundry. Cosy underfloor heating provides year round comfort in any weather. Guest can enjoy a glorious walk down the path through the adjoining croft land to the Penifiler shore enjoying views across Portree Bay and spectacular Quiraing and Old Man of Storr.

Gate Lodge on Conservation Farm Isle of Skye

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. stoirm - a tranquil rural hideaway

Relax and immerse yourself in the space around you, enjoy the peace and calmness of this rural retreat. Experience spectacular views of the Cuillins, Portree Bay and the Old Man of Storr. stoirm is situated in the quiet township of Penifiler, a rural crofting community. This modern cottage is ideally located on the island, 3 miles from Portree (the largest town on Skye), allowing you to absorb all that Skye has to offer.

Bespoke built, Avalon Chalet is a modern self-catering chalet. Situated in the picturesque township of Borve, only 4 miles from Portree, where there are a variety of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Ideal quiet location for your day trips around Skye. Beautiful views and sunsets. Only 20 minutes from Uig Ferry terminal Ample parking Wi fi During April / May, there are plenty cute baby lambs on the croft.

With only your hosts as near neighbours you can be guaranteed a peaceful rest after a busy day.

Beautiful setting by the sea. 15 minute drive from Portree. Close to local bus route. Plenty of local wildlife to sit and observe. Within walking distance of local hotel. Outside area with seating provided to enjoy. We now have WiFi available to guests. Earlier (from 4pm) check-in available on certain days - please message to inquire. Small but functional - Pod is 3 meters x 4.8 meters.
