From Broadway Market it's a short(ish) walk along the canal to Victoria Park. Go to the boating lake, have coffee or brunch at Pavilion Cafe, and then take the kids to the adventure playground. Afterwards have a mooch in the nice shops in Victoria Park Village.

If the weather's OK, do try and get here on a Sunday, it's a real experience. Go as early as you can (it opens at 6am) as it gets incredibly crowded on a nice day. It's all over by around 2pm.
