One of America's oldest seaports, Baltimore's recently-renewed Inner Harbor is home to some of the city's best attractions, including the National Aquarium, Maryland Science Center, Port Discovery Children's Museum, and Harborplace. The neighborhood is also an excellent blend of Maryland's new and old history, with 19th-century ships in the harbor and modern attractions like Baltimore's World Trade Center, with a 27th-floor viewing deck overlooking the city.

Fell’s Point is a historic, waterfront neighborhood located in walking distance from us. Fell's Point is a historic area along the waterfront that has been beautifully restored. This old harbor quarter was once the shipbuilding district of Baltimore, with places of entertainment for the seamen. Today, behind the many restored brick buildings are restaurants, cafes, and shops, making it a popular place to meet. The lively market building has stalls selling local foods. Water taxis connect Fell's Point to the Inner Harbor.

Resting between Boston Street and the Baltimore Harbor, Canton Waterfront Park offers eight acres of terrific views of the harbor and an easily accessible and vista-rich recreational area. See Baltimore’s maritime both past (with Fort McHenry sitting prominently across the water) and present (gargantuan U.S. Navy ships docked in the adjacently situated Clinton Street Marine Terminal). Canton Waterfront Park is a nice place to throw out a blanket for a nice picnic. Festivals and gatherings are common in the park. The park is also a popular place for viewing events such as the Blue Angels Air Show or Tall Ships coming into the Inner Harbor.

This Fells Point institution spruced itself up after many years of abandon and revitalized business in the surrounding area. Make sure to patronize long-time market stalwarts Sal and Son’s Seafood for fried shrimp or grilled rockfish, Sophia’s Place for pierogies and cheese babka, and Vikki’s Deli for all your sandwich needs.
