The food is amazing and the prices are really cheap considering the quality and portions. The staff is super friendly and they're open until 4am every single day. Super lively on the weekends. The drinks are also excellent but more competitively priced.

This restaurant is cheap (for manhattan) and very filling. The food is delicious (Chinese noodles). Definitely one of my favorite restaurants around, especially if you like spicy food!

This is an East Village staple, though people come from all over to have breakfast here. All day Breakfast menu and amazing milkshakes. Decently long waits though.

Another East Village hot spot. Tons of people love to eat and be seen here. The food is great, sizable portions and an huge list of vegetable side dishes. My favorites are the omelettes and the breakfast burrito.

Super intimate, small restaurant with excellent small plate Japanese food + sake. Homey atmosphere. My favorite plates are the Tuna Tartare and the Korean BBQ Beef.

This is a great coffee spot and their food is great too. Another big East village staple. Great music and there's a beautiful enclosed, outdoor seating area. No wifi unfortunately and I think it may still be cash only. Favorites: Breakfast Quesadilla

Great place to go for a walk or run. Right next to the water, beautiful views of the East River, Brooklyn, and the Williamsburg and Brooklyn Bridges. There are soccer fields, baseball fields and basketball courts.
