Great for runners, sunrise sunset over river, but some noise pollution

One of the outdoor gems of the LES. Great for running, walking, sightseeing (amazing views of the Williamsburg bridge and Brooklyn), also has athletic fields, amphitheater, tennis courts, bike paths, and kids playgrounds. This also connects with a series of parks that run along the waterfront almost continuously from 14th Street on the East side down around through the financial district into Battery Park and onto the parks on West Side a (very long walk or a fairly easy bike ride).

Want to take in the incredible views of the East River as it goes under 3 famous bridges and you get a great view of Brooklyn, or as I like to put it...Brooklyn gets a great view of you!
