Guests love this cute 9x12 wood cabin set under a Texas Oak on our family estate called Deerhaven Retreat. A unique camp-like getaway in nature with a queen bed, wifi, A/C, heat, RokuTV, microwave, mini-fridge, Keurig, gas grill and private deck. Deer greet you along the path to your own reserved full bathroom— one of 3 private bathrooms located in our separate facility a short walk from your cabin. Enjoy fresh air, wildlife, and a natural Hill Country vibe that's only 8 minutes to shops/dining.

The Hilltop Stop

The Hilltop Stop is centrally located. Just 30 min to Austin/ San Antonio, 10 min to Blanco/Canyon Lake. The famous Guadalupe River is just down the road. Also close by are the amazing wineries, distilleries, breweries and many wedding venues that have been popping up all over the Hill Country. Some of the oldest dance halls in the state are just minutes away. The owners do live on the property and are there if needed. It is the perfect stop to catch your breath before your next Texas excursion.

There are boat rentals for Canyon Lake and you can go tubing or canoeing on the Guadalupe River. Other area attractions are Guadalupe State Park, Natural Bridge Caverns, Schlitterbahn, Fiesta Texas, Wimberly, Luckenbach, Whitewater Amphitheater, and Fredericksburg. Beautiful and comfortable, this gorgeous getaway is in the heart of Texas hill country, one mile south of Guadalupe St Park and next to the beautiful Park 31 wedding venue. We are minutes from small towns and a big city that offers unique and multicultural experiences, shopping, dining, and recreation. Guadalupe River Park is easily accessible and offers water recreation, camping, and day hikes. As a working horse ranch, you will enjoy the close interactions with our animals!

Enjoy your stay watching deer, birds, sunsets, stars and relax. Casita on the Ranch is located on our 90 acre ranch near the main home with just a 2 minute walk to the gym. We are about 35 min to New Braunfels or SanAntonio and about 20 min to Canyon Lake and Blanco. We are close to the Guadalupe River, Guadalupe State Park, Natural Bridge Caverns, Schlitterbahn, Fiesta Texas and Fredericksburg is about 45 minutes away. Plenty of parking and a fenced back yard. 2 pets max.

Our cozy one room cabin is tucked away in a peaceful wooded area, accompanied by the sounds of a running creek just out front. This spot is a great place to relax and unplug from the busyness of life. Enjoy a stroll or hike alongside the creek, plop some chairs in the water and take in the sounds of nature. Kids enjoy exploring, wildlife and roasting marshmallows while snuggling up around a campfire. The experience is much like camping, not to be compared with a hotel.
