This cozy home with two distinct living areas overlooks a wide expanse of water on Badin Lake. Enjoy exploring the lake by kayaking (kayaks provided) or by hiking the many trails in nearby Uwharrie Forest. A public boat launch is nearby so bring your boat or other water vehicles. The Asheboro Zoo is a beautiful drive less than an hour away. Take the time to read the guest review below who says it all! Located in Badin Shores Resort. Amenities offered include seasonal swimming in the olympic sized saltwater pool, beach area, on site restaurant, fishing or strolling on 2 mile dock along water, disc golf, mini golf, horseshoe pit, volleyball, basketball, playgrounds, workout room, and more! 2 kayaks for use and boat rentals available thru various boat rental websites. There is a $50 fee, resort charges,to bring in your own boat, parking for boat in 72 hour parking lot.

This property is unique as it’s in Jacob’s Creek cove on LKT where boat and jet ski traffic is little to none. The cove also has a nature preserve where you’ll see wood ducks fly in, blue herons raise their chicks each year, ospreys hunt in the evening and you can kayak to see beavers!
