Enjoy a hike at nearby Rocky Fork State Park, then end your day with a warm fire outside gazing at the stars. We can’t wait to host you!

Brice's Place on the Farm

Relax with your family and dogs on the Farm in the Forest! Brice's Place is a completely modernized, 100+ year-old Farm House on a 22-acre, small working farm. Nestled within the Cherokee National Forest, Brice's Place is in the Limestone Cove Valley of Unicoi County, between Stone Mountain & Unaka Mountain. With hiking and biking trails next to the property & some of the best fly-fishing rivers in Tennessee, Brice's Place is just 20-minutes to Johnson City, 35 to Bristol & 55 to Asheville.

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Snuggle in at night in our super comfy king size bed. Take a hike…literally on the iconic Appalachian trail which runs through the development or visit the fitness center across the street. Welcome to the Lee Cabin located at Shootout Mountain. The Lee Cabin was built in 1876 and is the oldest structure on Shootout Mountain. The cabin has been fully remodeled and offers all the latest amenities for an enjoyable mountain experience. You’ll find abundant outdoor recreation, a temperate climate, a relaxed lifestyle, and friendly people. The Lee Cabin is approximately a 1-hour drive from Asheville, Boone, or Johnson City, TN. Stream has a sitting area, private roads are great to walk, take kids/pups.Great for kids/pups of all ages with parental supervision. Burnsville has a Brewery with live music ,Unicoi beautyspot & AT lookout is 22 miles, Mayland planetarium& observatory(get tickets in advance)! This area has so much to explore!
