Rosie's Studio

Rosie's Studio is a very special place decorated with original paintings by the late Salt Spring Island artist - Rosemaria Behncke. This large, unique cottage/studio is situated on a 25 acre farm in the peaceful south end of beautiful Saltspring Island, close to parks, beaches, Fulford Shops and the Ferry Terminal. Relax in this quiet pastoral setting and enjoy the sweep of the ocean out to volcanic Mount Baker. We welcome families with children and pets. Update: Emily the duck has passed.

Sheltered from storms, on a private cove, the Covehouse has a cedar and glass deck, BBQ, dock, hot tub with view, ocean access. Ideal for 1-2 couples, cyclists, paddlers, nature lovers, families, or business.

The area hosts a plethora of bird life from hummingbirds, kingfishers, woodpeckers, herons, eagles and trumpeter swans to name a few!

Sitting on three acres with complete privacy, our custom home was built in the 1940s and perched over Maple Bay and Saltspring Island with incredible panoramic views. Ocean, mountains, rain forest, wildlife and constant sun throughout the day makes this retreat like no other.
