The Greenhouse Cottage

We feel that the best way to describe our getaway to be “Rustic Elegance”. When you walk through the door you will instantly feel the warmth of a uniquely styled Adirondack cottage. Located nearby to the Acadia Highway (aka Route 1), we are close by to historic Fort Knox, Castine, and Acadia. Enjoy our attached “Greenhouse” which has been made over into a delightful screenhouse/patio, the country setting, blueberry fields, and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Fire pit, horseshoes, more!!!

The house has a access trail to 35 acre Mason Pond. This newly built home has an abundance of open space with native wood walls and ceilings. The kitchen and living room is on the second floor capturing views of surrounding hills and distant ocean. 2nd fl A/C only .The second floor has sliding glass doors opening to a 36 ft covered deck.The 2 bedrooms are on the 1st floor with queen size beds. Both bedrooms have 10 foot ceilings with their own private French doors access to yard & 6 acre field

Lyle Frost Managment Area. Its a fun place to kayak and fish. From the cabin its about a 45 minute drive to Acadia National Park or Schoodic Point. Besides Acadia, there is local hiking, nearby shopping, local restaurants, the Sunrise Trail, and other Maine adventure just waiting to be explored.
