The Studio at Heath House is a light, airy and welcoming home from home. It is ideal for couples and solo adventurers. It is in a separate building from the main house and guests are assured privacy and quiet. We welcome pets too. The Studio provides the perfect base to explore the Shropshire Hills (AONB); and the historic towns of Bridgnorth (4 miles away), Much Wenlock, Ludlow and Shrewsbury. Ditton Priors is our local village and has a shop, post, office, pub, doctor’s surgery and garage.

Accommodation comprises a kitchen (w. slimline dishwasher), open plan sitting/dining area with log burner, bedroom (King Size bed), shower room and downstairs loo. Sofa bed on request (small double).

The lodge is surrounded by fields with stunning views of the Severn Valley, Clee and Malvern hills and is only a short walk away from Arley Arboretum, the Severn Valley Railway and the quaint village of Arley itself. Victoria Cottage was built in the 19th century and used at one time as the brew house for the local Golden Ball Inn. It has been fully modernised to provide 21st century standards of comfort and convenience, at all seasons of the year. It is dog-friendly and is found in a lovely idyllic backwater of Ironbridge with beautiful treetop views over the Gorge yet only a ten minute walk to the historic centre and the world's first Iron Bridge, coffee shops, restaurants and museums.

This is a great location for lovers of both town and country. Only a short distance to the magnificent Shropshire Hills which offer excellent hiking and cycling and also only a short drive to Shrewsbury Town Centre which is famous for its medieval buildings, Norman castle and Abbey. The town is great for shopping and socialising and hosts a large number of independent retailers, excellent restaurants, traditional pubs and cocktail bars. We have good internet access.

Welsh Borders Bed And Breakfast

Our eco house is a relaxed and comfortable place to stay in the beautiful & unspoilt Welsh Borders. We have a large garden growing most of our fruit & vegetables, our own chickens and provide free cider while stocks last. Please understand that we are a traditional bed and breakfast establishment. I know that the listing states that a whole flat or house is available, it is not. Unfortunately AirB&B insist that we put this otherwise it on will only list one bedroom.

The School House, a charming 200-year old cottage.

Marnwood School House is a beautiful holiday cottage with bags of charm. The cottage dates back 200 years, where it was originally used as a school house for the poor but Reverend Bartlett in 1824. The property has been fully restored to an excellent standard, whilst still retaining its period character. The property is just a few minutes drive from Ironbridge, which offers lots of attractions and activities for all ages, as well as great places to eat.
