If you are looking to try a local favourite, Tony's is the place to go to try a donair. A donair is a type of sandwich or wrap that originated in Halifax. The meat is made of spiced beef or lamb that is roasted on a spit and then sliced into thin strips. Add the toppings you like and don't forget to ask for donair sauce!
