You can either drive there or walk. If you walk then go into the main square and at the bottom turn left towards the national car park. Walk through the gates to the far left hand corner. You will find a gate which will lead you down a path towards the river and waterfall. Once at the river/waterfall go over the bridge and continue following the path until you hit the road. Turn right and follow the road up the hill. At the crossroads go straight over and follow the road (signposted Linton) You will reach a very beautiful village with the pub located on the green. Traditional pub with an open fire. Food is excellent with normally at least three veggie options. Good portions but does get very busy so go early or ideally try and book. Good for kids as they can also play on green with the ducks (weather permitting).

Nestled on the green in a cosy dales hamlet with a pack horse bridge over a shallow beck is this glorious eatery.

The most picturesque setting for a village pub. Get your drinks and sit out by the river on the village green. River paddling for dogs and kids. Good food also.
