Haworth is a tourist destination known for its association with the Brontë sisters and the preserved heritage Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. It is also known for its beautiful shops with handmade gifts. Approx 20 minute drive.

Haworth is as lively a village now as it was in the days of the Bronte family. Your holiday home is in the Mill Hey area, just a stone’s throw from Haworth Station. It has its own little centre with two supermarkets, a vets, hardware shop, pet shop, hairdressers, model shop, takeaways, fish and chips, micro-brewery and friendly local drinking places. Turn left out of the front door and walk down the hill until you reach the main road. From here, you can walk to Haworth’s beautiful Central Park and historic Main Street by turning left to the Train Station. Walk over the railway bridge and up a little cobbled lane to Central Park. The cobbled Main Street is at the top end of the park.

Situated above the Worth Valley and nesteled in the Pennine moors, Haworth is internationally famous for its connection with the Bronte sisters who wrote most of their famous works while living at the Haworth Parsonage. The village itself offers a picturesque setting which is perfect for weekend shopping and lunching. A host of independent pubs, cafes and stores line the cobbled streets and include everything from unique gift shops, vintage clothing, toy shops, bakeries and even a chocolatiers!

Home of the famous Brontë sisters, Haworth’s picturesque, cobbled main street will certainly take your breath away (in more ways than one!). Visit the iconic parsonage and take a stroll over the rolling moors, then treat yourself to some well earned refreshments in one of the town’s independent many cafes and pubs.
