Scenic boat ride to Burkliplatz, Zurich. Takes about 40 min and totally worth it. Best part, you don't have to buy any additional ticket, if you already have the usual ticket to Zurich.

Boat station, you can take a boat to enjoy a round trip tour of the Zurich lake with the spectacular view of Swiss alps. You can take a boat to go to Zurich and take a train back to Thalwil as well.
