Chennai as the oldest modern city in India, took birth here - where the British built Fort St. George in 1639! Relics from a bygone era!

Fort St. George is the first British footprint in India. For that alone, this museum is worth a look. It is still used as a government facility, but the museum is open 9 - 5pm.
