The Calaveras Air Fair, Fly-in and Open House, which takes place at the Carol Kennedy airport in San Andreas, is the most fun of the San Andreas festivals & events – really one of the best events in the County. Here, you can take $5 – $10 airplane rides and see a wide variety of amazing planes performing flyovers in military, experimental and specialty aircraft. Think of it like a car show for airplanes, where plane owners from around the region fly in for the day and line up on the tarmac for spectators to admire … Happens once a year on Earth Day!
