An absolute must for everyone. Salzburg doesn't get any more authentic than this. The Bosna (a very special "hotdog") was invented here and is very popular with tourists and locals alike. Definitely try the "original" version.

Balkan-Grill The Balkan Grill is hidden in a very small space in one of the charming passages between Getreidegasse and Universitätsplatz. The "Bosna" prepared there has enjoyed cult status for a long time.

"If you are in Salzburg you need to eat a Bosnal which is kind of a hot bog with curry and spices and if you have to eat it, why not have the best in town! This is just a tiny stall in one of the passages in the street Getreidegasse, but usually with a long queue in front of it - but don't give up, its worth the wait. Hands down the best Bosna in Salzburg ...since 1950!

The best "Bosna" in the world! If you have a chance to go there, do it. Open from 11am, the earlier you get there, the better. There won't be any Bosna left in the later afternoon.

Da gehen alle Salzburger hin. Vom Arbeiter bis zum Professor, vom Straßenkünstler bis zum Opernstar, von jung und alt. Zeit einkalkulieren, da meistens eine lange Warteschlange ist aber es zahlt sich aus und schmeckt so gut !!!!
