Beautiful hike through an Aspen forest near the ski basin. When you take a break, lie down on the forest floor, and look up at the aspens swaying in the wind. Nothing like it.

Beautiful trails from this campground along Big Tesuque Creek. Get there via Hyde Park Road, which is a scenic drive on the way to the ski basin and very convenient from where you're staying. It's a good 10 degrees cooler up there, no matter the time of year, so keep that in mind!
