A beautiful, well-maintained park - wonderful for picnics. In the summer, there's sometimes live music at the rotunda. This location offers a nice view of the Rachel Pool, a historic alkaline hot spring.
The Government Gardens (originally known as Paepaekumana) is a public park, partly laid out as gardens, located by Lake Rotorua in central Rotorua, Bay of Plenty, North Island, New Zealand.
