Great spot for watching local fishermen trying their luck. The pelicans and resident sea eagles are particularly fond of this spot! The waterfront playground, BBQs, picnic tables and public toilets make this the ideal spot for a family gathering.

The beach to North of Callala Bay Jetty is dog friendly (dogs must be leashed at all times) and makes for an excellent walk at all times of the day. This is not a surf beach and the water is usually calm which makes this perfect for relaxing swims with young children, or if you are after some exercise. As you walk north you will cross Boorawine Creek then Wowly Creek which are great places for the kids to explore and play.

Beautiful place to watch the pelicans, see ocean life from the jetty and watch the sunrise.

2min drive or 5min beach walk from Wowly Creek. This is the place where you see pelicans, giant stingrays and do fishing. There's a quality BBQ facility and a kids playground next to the water. Speaking of lunch or dinner with a view!
