Like stepping back in time. Old traditional pub with no music or fruit machines just good old fashioned conversation. The Cats is run by a charming couple who really do make the most of this stunning pub set in the heart of the beautiful countryside. Snuggle up with the 2 log burners inside during the colder months or sit and look out across the ploughed fields during the summer from the garden. If your lucky enough you might get to see the steam engines fire up in the car park. A ploughman’s is served Thurs - Sat but no food any other times. The cats is a cash only bar so no credit card terminals I am afraid. Within walking distance, situate down Blue Mill Lane about a 10 mins from boat - you will need torches for evening time.
