You'll have to take off your shoes for this meal.... literally. While there are many sushi restaurants nearby, Irori offers a unique selection of fish and offers a traditional Japanese experience that you don't often find in West Los angeles. This place get's quite busy so I would recommend going for lunch on a weekday (as the prices are significantly cheaper) or making a reservation in advance.

Traditional sushi (take off your shoes) order the New Style Yellowtail or Red Snapper with Shiso Leaf and Yuzukosho Sauce with Sea Salt.

Hole in the wall sushi place that's super good. I think they have the best edamame ever. The coolest is that the tables are over holes in the floor that you dangle your feet in. And no shoes!! So cool

Yes, it's "mall sushi", but this is some of the best sushi you'll have in your life, and it is reasonably priced. This placed is booked constantly, make sure to reserve in advance
