One of the most stunning bays in Ireland. You can drive or walk down almost 1000 ft to the sandy beach. There are red deer that can be seen at dusk. Several episodes of Game of Throne were filmed at this location. This is about a 10 minute drive from Torr.

Murlough Bay one of the famous Game of Thrones filming locations, is on the beautiful coast route between, Ballycastle and Cushendun (Game of Thrones location) With a secluded beach and boasting stunning scenery and energetic walks, it is most definitely worth a visit.

Murlough Bay is a true hidden gem of the North Coast. Secluded, serene and one of the most picturesque bays in Ireland, on a clear day Murlough provides excellent views of Rathlin, the Mull of Kintyre, and the western isles of Scotland. Discover a landscape once described as a ‘momentary glimpse of Eden’, one deep in the heart of the local community, and lately a filming location for the Game of Thrones.

My favourite place in Ireland. If you park at the top carpark & walk along the cliffs to your right as you look over the sea until you get to a gate and a track that goes down to a little farm. Just in front of it is attack that takes you down through bluebell woods to the shore. To the right past a house with black windows is path that takes to a little beach which depending on how the winter has been can be sandy & a good place to swim. The walk up along the road is long but worth it. The walks on Fairhead are stunning too. There is another carpark off the road to Ballycastle.
