Hang out by the water downtown and you are sure to see all kinds of watercraft from stand-up paddleboards to mega-yachts. As you watch you may notice many boats that make their way up the alley only to turn around and leave immediately... hence the name "Ego Alley".

"Ego Alley" in Annapolis is a small, narrow waterway that leads to the heart of the city. It got it's name from the endless parade of boats and yachts that traverse this dead end canal, usually only to see and be seen. Great place for families to relax by the water.
