Mission Chinese Food

Mission Chinese has a rep for being too spicy, too loud, too dark. And that’s precisely why I keep going back! The dim lighting and fun dragon dance decor lend an ambience that’s unique to this place. And as a lover of intensely seasoned and spiced food, this just hits the mark for me, whether I go for a full meal or just pre-night-out snacks. The plentiful vegan options are clearly marked. I like to order the thrice-cooked bacon, which is fantastic when made vegan. I also like the mapo tofu, the steamed market greens, and the fried rice. Portions are generous, perfect for sharing!
