The Brown Line will take you all the way into downtown. You can transfer to the Red line at the Belmont stop or any of the others as you get into the loop.

The end of the Brown line -- Kedzie stop is the one closest to me, with entrance/exit on my street.

Take the Brown Line for the views, not the speed! It provides an excellent aerial "tour" of Chicago neighborhoods and the Loop!
