Lovely family friendly beach with ice cream shops, fish and chips, a lifeboat station and a pier that is perfect for crabbing from. The yacht club also runs sailing courses and races in the summer.

The closest and most private beach to the cottage. Wonderful day trip. 1.5 hrs. Continue past the town centre a few minutes to 2 separate car parks off the main road. 5 to 10 min walk to quite isolated beach and sand dunes. First car park you can easily walk into town for coffee & ice cream. No lifeguards here and some currents possible. Sometimes jellyfish. There are lifeguards at main beach - park in town for this.

Beautiful small village with a great sunshine record and views over the Dyfi River estuary and the Cambrian mountains

Aberdyfi beach is absolutely stunning. Fab sandy beach with dunes that go on for miles. Be careful in the water though, strong currents as it's an estuary

Where the mountains meet the sea at the mouth of the River Dyfi. A busy sailing and water sports centre. Shops, cafes, restaurants, toilets, car parking for a charge. Scenic trips from the harbour, enjoy kite flying, crb fishing from the jetty and sand castle building. Dog friendly.
