Because this is the closest thing you'll get to Italy within walking distance and maybe even the entire borough of Brooklyn. Our family has been shopping here for years - it's the best place around for authentic Italian goodies, including chocolates, pasta, vinegar, charcuterie, cheeses, dried sausages and MORE! It's worth a walk just to check it out. We love this place - can't make a great antipasti platter without it!
