The last Thursday of every month, Alberta Street hosts Portland's largest art event! From 6-9pm, artists, musicians, performers, and food vendors line Alberta Street from 15th-30th Avenues.

every last Thursday of the month June to September local artists, vendors, dj's and restaurants put on a big event that allows the neighborhood to sight see, and experience all the cultural wrapped in this diverse neighborhood.

If you are around for the last Thursday of the month ~April-October, you should either be sure to go to Alberta Street from 5'ish til 10'ish, or head the other direction depending on how much you like crowds, street vendors, performers, young people, and crowded places. Plenty of police presence either makes you feel comfortable or something else...

Street closes and local artists display their art and galleries open to showcase their artists. A lot of bars and restaurants along Alberta make it a fun strip to roam.
