A great ferry ride on the water to this gem at the other end of the island. This maritime adventure will expose you to all the things that make Bermuda memorable.
Water sports, Restaurants, historic sights and shopping; a great place to see some of Bermuda's first Architecture.
The Royal Navy Dockyard was once one of the most strategic holdings of the British Empire. Now it is strategic for holding great stores, restaurants and bars. The Frog and Onion bar is a favorite and the Pastry Shop is a guilty pleasure.
It has every thing that you need, tours, attractions, shopping, restaurants, movie theatre ( Neptune Cinema)
45 mins drive and at the complete opposite end of the island. Instead of driving, we recommend getting the ferry departing from Hamilton to Dockyard. It’s quick and an way to see Bermuda from the water. Dockyard is mainly about strolling around the various shops and gift markets. There is also The National Museum of Bermuda (entrance in front of Frog & Onion). Dolphin Quest is located inside this area as well. Advance bookings are required for Dolphin Quest. Food options are not super inspiring here. Have a simple lunch outside at Bone Daddies. Melissa likes their tuna tartar. Or, pub style lunch at The Frog & Onion. Save room for a locally made icecream from Alex & Pete’s Artisan Bermuda Ice-cream before boarding the ferry back to Hamilton. Alternatively, if you made the choice to drive to Dockyard you can stop for a Bermuda fish sandwich at Woody’s on the way there or back.
